The opening four shots of the sequence, where the audience see what is assumed to be a dead body under a sheet with a tag on his foot stating time of death. The foot then twitches, and the character throws the sheet over the camera and opens his eyes.

The 5th - 8th shots of the sequence, showing the character sitting up, ripping an IV tube out of his arm, walking and stumbling onto the floor. The point of view shots are handheld, something which has become somewhat of a convention in the thriller genre.

The ending of the sequence was also adapted, so that shots 13, 14 and 15 which were meant initially to be used earlier are used now when the character opens the door. Another shot shows the character walking away with bloody footprints being left behind. The final shot shows the character breaking into the door where screams are coming from instead of just opening it to add more dramatic effect, and we used a door saying 'Staff Only' purely because it made more sense with the storyline to do so.
